As well as having a passion for flowers, I love nothing more than watching them grow naturally within a garden setting.

When visiting a garden centre most people will be drawn to the most beautiful blooms all very cleverly placed within your eye line. However, questions always pop into my mind when I see this….How long will they flower for?….What will the foliage look like once the initial flower has died away?….How difficult are they to manage?….Will they flower again next year? My view is that a well planned garden needs to take all of these points into consideration and I am always mindful of structure and seasons when creating my own garden designs.
